In the role of Manufacturing Engineer III you’ll play a pivotal part in problem resolution. You’ll have the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert in using Lean or Six Sigma principles to optimize existing processes to ensure production of cost effective and quality products. This position contributes to our vision by:
5S deployment and sustainability;
Creation of sequential production cells;
Support Accelerated Improvement Workshops;
Conduct and coordinate monthly audits to our lean production system;
Investigate and document process best practices to be shared across the shop;
Make sure the continuous improvement initiative is deployed throughout the company according to plans and expectations;
Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
Regular, predictable attendance is required;
Other duties may be assigned.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point – Beginner
Analytical, self starter, proactive, with excellent communication skills.
Knowledgable in Lean Manufacturing,
Ablity to relay information both verbally and in writing
Ability to complete projects with little supervision
Good interpersonal skills
Looking for candidates with can-do attitude and sense of urgency in completing projects and tasks on time
Ability to work in a team environment
Exhibits self-esteem, able to accept responsibility and highly organized
