Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee with a background in software programming to join our 15 software and test engineer’s team in Berlin. This position is ideal for students who have a foundational understanding of programming and are familiar with the Safran Group’s internal tools. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing automation software, enhancing efficiency, and supporting innovative projects across various departments.
Experience with object-oriented programming and a passion for software development. Familiarity with the Python programming language, including the following libraries: Tkinter, Pandas, and Pywin32.
Knowledge of Git, GitLab, Visual Studio Code, Excel, SAP. An understanding of processes used within the Safran Group, as well as knowledge of the Scrum Agile methodology, is a big plus.
Optional – UI Development Skills: Experience with Tkinter for developing heavyweight client applications and user interface mock-ups with Formation Studio and/or GIMP.
